a painting of the Bald ibis, or Waldrapp ibis - Geronticus eremita.
This bird is very rare and only a few have left in the whole world.
It may be seen only in Parks and in zoos.
The significance of this bird, is that is believed the origin of this bird
goes back to Greek mythology b.C., to the Styphalian birds
that Hercules killed in his 7th labor.
Some of the birds then, escaped the deadly arrows of Hercules
and migrated to Asia minor.
